Kris Beason Creates JPI’s Contract Administration Department
Kris Beason, vice president at JPI, has more than 40 years of experience in construction and commercial real estate. She oversees contracts across the national multifamily developer’s pipeline, which in 2025 included more than 6,300 residential units representing approximately $2.2 billion in development value.
Beason began working with JPI as a consultant in September 2024 and joined the company full-time in March 2026. She built its contract administration department from the ground up, implementing standardized procedures and risk guidelines, a companywide contract-tracking system, and a Workday blanket purchase order and invoicing process. She also leads JPI’s preferred vendor program, developing more consistent agreements with design and trade partners.
Additionally, Beason leads the company’s Women’s Group and mentors colleagues.
She founded the CREW Seattle Leadership Certificate Program, which has served more than 110 women, and received CREW Network’s 2016 Career Advancement for Women Impact Award for that work. CREW Seattle subsequently established an annual scholarship in her name. Other honors include CREDA Washington’s Mentoring Women Award and CREW Seattle’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
Beason serves on the CREDA Washington and CREDA Corporate national boards and the executive committee of FareStart’s board.
These are just a few reasons Kris Beason is among the Seattle & Northwest Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
