As Newmark’s Executive Vice Chairman and President of Western Region Capital Markets, Steve Golubchik serves as the co-head of Newmark’s life science practice group and oversees commercial capital markets on the West Coast. In 2025, he led his team in completing 32 transactions totaling $3.3 billion in sales volume.
Notable highlights included the sale of a 1.1 million-square-foot campus on the San Francisco Peninsula, representing the largest single-asset office sale in the past 20 years and the largest transaction in Palo Alto’s history.
The team also negotiated the sale of 600 California at $360 per square foot. This was the highest per-square-foot sale generated for a vacant building in 2025.
