Cushman&Wakefield’s Brown Has Executed More Than $3 Billion in Structured Real Estate Financing
Kristian Brown is a Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Equity, Debt & Structured Finance (EDSF) group based in Phoenix. He advises commercial real estate sponsors on capital stack structuring and execution across the risk spectrum, including joint venture equity, preferred and programmatic equity, and senior, mezzanine, and bridge debt.
He is responsible for underwriting, financial modeling, leading national capital outreach to institutional investors, family offices, life companies, agencies, banks, and debt funds, and managing transactions from origination through closing.
Brown has closed approximately $3.2 billion across 48 closings in his career, including approximately $913 million in placed debt and equity. Highlights include $48.6 million of acquisition financing and equity placement for a $60-million Class A office acquisition in Atlanta; $34 million of acquisition financing and preferred equity for a fully leased, Class A office asset in Scottsdale; and $28.65 million of construction financing for a 140-unit Class A multifamily development in Charleston.
Brown is an active participant in the Urban Land Institute’s Partnership Forum, where he is involved with mentorship, leadership development and peer collaboration with emerging and senior industry professionals. Cushman & Wakefield has recognized him as the Top Senior Associate across the company’s Capital Markets Americas.
These are just a few reasons we chose Kristian Brown as one of Connect CRE’s Phoenix & Southwest Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
