Cole with Vestar Oversees Leasing and Development for Large-Scale Retail Pipeline
As a Leasing and Development Manager at Vestar, Harrison Cole is responsible for leasing and development execution across a multi-state retail portfolio totaling approximately four million square feet in Arizona and California. He sources and negotiates lease transactions, structures deal terms, and executes merchandising strategies to support long-term asset performance.
Cole has completed over $200 million in transaction volume across retail assets in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada and Washington, working with leading ownership groups including Nuveen, Barings, AEW, DMB, and 3D Investments.
Cole oversees the leasing and development of more than 2.6 million square feet of ground-up retail currently underway in Arizona. A key project is the 520,000-square-foot Verrado Marketplace, an open-air shopping center in Phoenix’s West Valley anchored by Target, Safeway, Harkins Theatres and HomeGoods. Harrison played a central role in leasing execution, merchandising strategy and architectural design to bring the project to market.
Cole is the ICSC NextGen Chair for the Southwest Marketplace Council, a member of the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP, and participates with the Valley Partnership. Outside of the industry, he volunteers with St. Mary’s Food Bank in Phoenix.
These are just a few reasons we chose Harrison Cole as one of Connect CRE’s Phoenix & Southwest Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
