George Smith Partners’ Matson Navigates the Full Capital Stack
Andreea Matson is an Associate Director in the Capital Markets Advisory Group at George Smith Partners. She structures and executes debt and equity financing solutions for commercial real estate sponsors and investors nationwide. Her duties include sourcing and negotiating capital across the full capital stack, including senior debt, mezzanine financing, preferred equity and joint venture equity.
Matson is actively involved in underwriting, lender and investor outreach, transaction execution, and relationship management across a variety of asset classes, including multifamily, industrial and next-generation infrastructure.
Her multilingual abilities and international perspective contribute to her effectiveness in working across diverse client and investor groups in an increasingly global real estate market.
Beyond her transaction responsibilities, Matson supports George Smith Partners’ collaborative and entrepreneurial culture by contributing to internal initiatives focused on market research, business development, and relationship-building across the firm’s network of lenders, investors, and sponsors.
