Provided counsel in the sale of MLB's Turner Field in Atlanta
James England is a Partner with Hunton Andrews Kurth. He runs a practice focusing on joint ventures, preferred equity structures, senior and mezzanine financing, as well as acquisitions and dispositions. England has significant experience with data center, hospitality, multifamily, office, industrial, student housing and senior living transactions.
He works with individuals, corporations, investment funds, family offices, sovereign wealth funds and foreign governments.
Notable matters include representing a data center developer and operator in the development of a $1.5-billion, 60-megawatt hyperscale data center in Chesterfield, VA. England also represented the City of Atlanta and Fulton County Recreation Authority with the sale of Turner Field, the former home of the Atlanta Braves major league baseball team.
England is a fellow of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society of the United Way. He has been recognized by Legal 500 United States.
