Sheppard, Mullin Partner Doug Yeager has advised some of the country’s largest and most sophisticated players in the commercial real estate industry for the past three decades. His national practice involves leases, acquisitions and dispositions. Yeager also works with energy companies, oilfield service companies, midstream companies and other energy industry clients with their real estate transactions.

Recent matters include representing Stonelake Capital Partners in its $428-million sale of 53 industrial properties to Brookfield Asset Management. Yeager also advised Stonelake Capital on its $124-million sale of a Texas-based industrial portfolio to Invesco Advisors, Inc. Other representative matters include serving as counsel to Hecate Energy Cereza LLC in its Easement Agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy for a one-gigawatt solar project in Washington State.

Yeager is recognized by leading legal publications, including Chambers USA and Legal 500. He is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, an active member of the Houston Real Estate Lawyers Council, and previously served on the Governing Council for the State Bar of Texas’s Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law Section.
