Larissa Gotguelf, a managing director in the Real Estate Solutions practice at FTI Consulting, is an accomplished real estate and restructuring consulting professional with over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, restructuring, litigation consulting, interim management and business strategy and operations. She provides transaction and financial advisory services in consulting, restructuring and litigation settings to real estate investors, developers, lenders, loan servicers, corporate real estate users, CMBS investors, receivers, and trustees.
Notable activities include advising trustees of a high‐profile, multi-hundred-million-dollar probate estate on monetizing a uniquely extensive and diverse urban real estate portfolio. She also advised a special servicer concerning the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of a portfolio involving five iconic resorts and the $1-billion CMBS loan, which was ultimately repaid in full.
Her role with FTI also includes actively recruiting and mentoring junior colleagues. She’s a member of the FTI Consulting Real Estate Solutions Marketing Committee and frequently leads the development of analytical and market overview materials.
Gotguelf serves on the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum’s Board of Directors and as the West Region Endowment Committee Co-Chair for the American Bankruptcy Institute Endowment Fund. She is also an active member of the CRE Finance Council.
The Turnaround Management Association (TMA), American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and other professional associations and law firms have invited Gotguelf to speak on topics related to restructuring, the real estate industry and fraud resolution.
