Spearheaded efforts to improve JLL maternity leave policy for capital markets producers
Annie Rice is a managing director at JLL’s Capital Markets group, specializing in financing multi-housing properties. During her four-year tenure with the firm, she’s closed over $4.6 billion in financing. Rice was previously a vice president with CBRE and worked for the Bascom Group.
Rice is an active mentor; over the past four years, she has mentored five young professionals new to commercial real estate. She has also driven positive changes at JLL, spearheading efforts to improve the maternity leave policy for all capital markets producers. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by women in brokerage, Rice has advocated for a more universally accepted maternity fund, making the workplace more inclusive and supportive.
Rice is an active NAIOP and ULI member, serving on the Freddie Mac advisory council and participating in the Fannie Mae subcommittee. Outside of her professional achievements, Rice serves on the board of the “I Have a Dream” Foundation for Los Angeles.
These are just a few reasons why Annie Rice is one of the California Connect CRE 2024 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
