Christa Dommers, managing partner of Seyfarth’s Washington, DC office, advises clients on all aspects of commercial real estate. She is a trusted strategic advisor on deal terms, structure, and negotiations.
Dommers successfully negotiated more than $1 billion in economic incentives for client projects. She has assisted in obtaining new headquarters locations for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 firms. Dommers has also represented clients in the development of research and development campuses.
Notable matters include leading the $25-million acquisition of a 125-unit senior living apartment on behalf of Livingston Street Capital. She also negotiated three build-to-suit leases for manufacturing facilities for a Fortune 500 client.
Dommers is the national chair of Seyfarth’s Hispanic Affinity Group and was recently appointed to serve on CREW Network’s Diversity & Inclusion Task Force. She co-chairs the DC office’s Lawyer Development Committee and co-leads Seyfarth’s annual highly regarded Real Estate Market Sentiment Survey, which spotlights trends affecting clients and the commercial real estate industry. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Hispanic National Bar Association and Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
