Represented Galvanize Real Estate in its first three industrial property acquisitions
Brian Ashin is a real estate partner resident in Washington, DC, representing private equity sponsors, family offices, asset managers, endowments, real estate funds, REITs and operators and developers in complex acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, restructurings, development transactions and leasing across various industry sectors including office, industrial, life sciences, manufactured housing, multifamily, hospitality and retail.
Ashin was hired in 2018 as King & Spaulding’s first DC-based transactional partner in a decade. He was tasked with helping to rebuild the firm’s presence in the mid-Atlantic. To date, Ashin helped recruit 30 attorneys to join the DC office.
Notable engagements include representing In-Rel Properties in acquiring 7500 Old Georgetown Rd. in Bethesda, MD. He also represented Galvanize Real Estate with its first three acquisitions of industrial properties in Maryland and New Jersey.
Ashin joined the Georgetown Law Alumni Board several years ago as its youngest member. He helped launch and now serves on Georgetown Law’s Corporate Symposium Alumni Advisory Board. He served on the National Young Leadership Cabinet of The Jewish Federations of North America and the Executive Committee for The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and previously chaired the same organization’s Lawyers’ Committee. Ashin also serves on the Board of Governors for The Jewish Agency for Israel.
