CBRE partners John Werstler (Senior Vice President) and Cooper Fratt (Executive Vice President) brokered a total of 95 industrial sales and leases totaling more than 7.7 million square feet in 2022.
One major transaction was the sale of Big Surf, a former 35.6-acre water park in Tempe, AZ. Overton Moore acquired the property for $50 million, and is planning three industrial buildings, with groundbreaking scheduled in 2023.
The duo also handled a 900,000-square-foot lease of the former Nike building in Goodyear, AZ to Unis, a Chinses 3PL company. Another notable deal involved the sale 10 acres from Park 52 at 292 near Scottsdale. The team negotiated the sale for a record-breaking $163 per land foot.
