Darcy Stacom and Bill Shanahan, both Chairman of NYC Capital Markets for CBRE negotiated and arranged 11 sales with a total value of $4.05 billion in 2022.

Notable transactions included the $2.1-billion sale of the St. John’s Terminal development from Oxford Properties Group and CPP Investments to Google. The partners arranged the sale of 475 Fifth Avenue, an office tower in Midtown, for $290 million to RFR on behalf of sellers Norges Bank Investment Management and Nuveen. In addition, Stacom and Shanahan arranged the sale of the luxury residential rental properties 140 and 160 Riverside Boulevard to A&E Real Estate for a combined sale price of $681 million.

The team holds the record for the single largest sale of any asset, the $5.4-billion transaction of the Stuyvesant Town-Peter Cooper Village, Manhattan’s largest apartment complex.
