Thomas Regan is the practice group leader of Brown Rudnick’s Real Estate and Energy, Regulatory & Environmental Practice Groups. In this role, he handles legal issues in real estate, energy, telecommunications, land use, health care and administrative law. Regan’s client list includes major corporations, private developers, institutions, and not-for-profits.
Transactions include representing a major retail company leasing its 800-store portfolio throughout the United States, representing an international investment company financing six hotels, and representing telecommunication providers and tower owners in developing over 500 telecommunications facilities throughout Connecticut.
Regan was the senior vice president of economic development and governmental affairs for the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce. He also has extensive experience in legislative and public affairs. He was a member of the Connecticut Unemployment Compensation Advisory Board, the Connecticut DOT Intermodal Concept Development Committee and the Long Island High-Speed Ferry Proposal Review Committee. He has been involved with USA Hockey as the organization’s secretary, director and a member of its legal counsel. Regan is the Ethel Walker School’s trustee and treasurer.
He is recognized by The Legal 500 US and The Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate. Regan received USA Hockey’s President’s Award.
Regan received his law degree from the University of Connecticut.
