Sarafina Klopfer is a Senior Project Manager at MGAC and has experience in delivering base building offices and unique, complex and challenging high-profile fit-outs. With the extensive knowledge she has gained over the past decade, Klopfer has a comprehensive understanding in the planning, management and coordination of complex projects while delivering excellent customer service to her clients.

Her responsibilities include preparing RFPs, managing schedules, reviewing change orders, monitoring the construction progress, preparing financial forecasts, developing project reports, reviewing architectural and engineering drawings and trade coordination.

One of her projects is a global headquarter development striving for Net-Zero Energy. This project involves redeveloping a 50-acre campus, which will have a state-of-the-art track and field, grandstand and a 280,000-square-foot mass timber-constructed.

Through her experience, Klopfer has developed a strong understanding of base building construction, as well as the unique challenges facing individual clients. Over the past two years, Sarafina has managed a government defense contractor portfolio, building, was involved in the renovation of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF), which involved more than 10 sites around the county.

Klopfer is on CREW DC’s Programs Committee, where she assists in the planning and executing of cutting-edge programs that have a positive impact across the commercial real estate community. She can also be found empowering the next generation of leaders as a Girls on the Run volunteer.

These are just a few reasons we chose Sarafina Klopfer as one of Connect CRE Washington DC’s 2023 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
