Karen Baines
Recipient of Colliers' Circle of Excellence Award
Active member of Colliers' Women's Network and National Diversity Council
Karen Baines began her career at Colliers in 2001 as an administrative assistant, working her way up to Senior Operations Manager for the Portland office of Colliers International.
In her spare time, she achieved Colliers University’s Knowledge Partner 2 designation, volunteered with the Legal Resources Group, organized conferences for the Private Capital Advisors Group and won their Outstanding Collaborator Award. She is also the recipient of Colliers’ Circle of Excellence Award.
She spearheaded the expansion of Colliers’ highly successful Quarterly Performance Check-Ins, which matches employees to exciting new company initiatives and trainings to boost their skills.
Baines worked with the Colliers’ Homes of Hope organization to build dwellings in Tijuana, Mexico, and volunteered at the Americas Conferences in its Marketing and Corporate Solutions departments. She is an active member of Colliers’ Women’s Network and the National Diversity Council. Baines also volunteers with the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology.
