Sarah Meads
Led the team that helped finance development of the $90 million Dominium
Has a passion for bringing quality, affordable housing to working families
Since joining Greystone’s affordable housing group in 2018, director Sarah Meads’ ability to work collaborative and manage relationships has made her a key part of the company’s origination team. She serves as Director and is lead relationship manager with national premier affordable housing developer Dominium Apartments.
Her 2021 accomplishments include leadership of the team that put together financing for development of Dominium’s $90-million, seven-story, 256-unit affordable housing development outside of downtown Nashville.
Prior to her current position, Meads was an underwriter and analyst with Walker & Dunlop. Though she wasn’t involved with the affordable housing sector until working with Greystone, her passion involves bringing quality, affordable housing to working families in communities across the United States. When not at Greystone, Meads volunteers her time and energy to support her two young children’s school activities.
Greystone’s Senior Managing Director and head of Affordable Housing Jeff Englund says Meads is a team player and humble about her work, while also being committed to delivering results and serving clients. “Her understanding of client needs and how to solve their most business-critical challenges makes her a sought-after and well-respected talent among clients, colleagues and others in the industry,” he said.
These are just a few reasons we chose Meads as one of Atlanta/Southeast’s 2022 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s sixth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
