CBRE’s Cara Nolan Generates More Than 38M SF in Transactions During Her Career
Cara Nolan, senior vice president at CBRE, has been involved in more than 38 million square feet of industrial real estate transactions during her career, with deals totaling more than $3 billion. She currently represents owners and developers with leasing assignments covering approximately 8.6 million square feet.
Her transaction record includes more than 540 leases and 98 sales since 2016. She has represented Danner LaCrosse in more than 1 million square feet of transactions nationwide and completed significant assignments for Central Garden & Pet, Owens Corning and Cardinal Health.
More recently, Nolan worked on the sale of a Washington industrial site acquired by Trammell Crow Co. and developed into a 1.185-million-square-foot speculative industrial facility at Mid I-5 Industrial Park. She subsequently helped lease the completed building.
Nolan’s industry leadership includes serving as president of the Commercial Association of Brokers and as the first Portland market delegate to CBRE’s Women’s Network. She contributes to CBRE’s national Advisory & Transaction Services platform and Industrial & Logistics Mentorship group.
She has been named a Daily Journal of Commerce Women of Vision honoree and a Portland Business Journal Forty Under 40 recipient. Her team has been CBRE Portland’s top industrial team for five consecutive years.
Outside the firm, Nolan volunteers with 4-H, judges youth horse competitions and supports career development programs at the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business.
These are just a few reasons Cara Nolan is among the Seattle & Northwest Connect CRE 2026 Women in Real Estate Award winners. The award honors the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
