Dobosh Has Helped Drive $2 Billion in Financing Transactions at HKS
Alex Dobosh is an Associate Director at HKS Real Estate Advisors, where he structures and executes complex commercial real estate financing transactions across all major asset classes. In his role, he works closely with sponsors, developers, and ownership groups to source, underwrite, and place debt and equity capital.
His core responsibilities include analyzing investment opportunities, building detailed financial models, and advising clients on optimal capital stack strategies to meet short-term financing needs and long-term investment objectives.
Dobosh has contributed more than $2 billion in total deal volume, including approximately $350 million in the past 12 months.
Notable transactions include arranging a $103.8-million refinance for a 356-unit, 483-bed student housing community backed by a major sovereign wealth fund. He also closed a $31.8-million bridge refinance for a newly completed 53-unit multifamily building in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood.
Dobosh offers hands-on guidance across live transactions, underwriting processes, and capital markets execution, supplemented by one-on-one training sessions that help accelerate learning and build practical, deal-oriented skill sets.
In the community, he is on the Young Professionals Board of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. The New York Real Estate Journal has named Dobosh on its “Ones to Watch” list.
These are just a few reasons we chose Alex Dobosh as one of Connect CRE’s New York & Tri-State Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
