Cohen with MMCC Provides Commercial Debt and Equity Financing Across Multiple Asset Types

Company:

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation

Brad Cohen is an Associate Director at Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation. He originates, structures and secures commercial debt and equity financing across a broad range of property types, including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, senior housing, self-storage and hospitality. He advises clients on capital markets strategy, identifies appropriate lending sources, and manages transactions through their full lifecycle.

He also specializes in SBA lending, working closely with small business owners to secure financing for acquisitions and owner-occupied real estate.

Over the past 3.5 years, Cohen closed 73 transactions totaling more than $209 million in financing volume. Recent transactions include the $15.5-million financing of Boulder Marketplace in Las Vegas, a $9.12-million loan secured for a Super 8 Motel near Yellowstone National Park, and the $12.5-million refinancing of Causeway Shopping Center in Melbourne, FL.

Cohen is involved with knowledge sharing and mentorship within the Phoenix office. He leads semiannual debt presentations to educate newer brokers on the structure, pricing, and nuances of commercial financing across asset classes. He also mentors a junior associate, guiding business development, underwriting, and client engagement.

In the community, he is involved with Saguaro’s Children’s Charities. He volunteers his time to assist elderly individuals at local nursing homes with technology that helps them stay connected with family and loved ones.

Cohen received MMC’s Pace Setter, Rising Star, Sales Recognition and Greg Miskovsky awards.

These are just a few reasons we chose Brad Cohen as one of Connect CRE’s Phoenix & Southwest Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
