Newmark’s Anderson Handles Major Apartment Sales Across Southern California
Erik Anderson is a Senior Managing Director at Newmark’s San Diego office, specializing in multifamily investment sales. He leads complex transactions for local investors and national institutional firms. He also advises on land transactions for residential and multifamily development.
In El Cajon, Anderson led the largest non-institutional portfolio sale in the market’s history. He also represented the buyer on the $31.6-million acquisition of the 160-unit San Carlos Village (now Cowle’s Landing) in San Diego.
Anderson is involved with mentoring and team development, overseeing and investing in two junior associates to help grow their skills and production. He is a member of industry organizations, including NMHC, ULI and NAIOP, where he serves on the Developing Leaders and Multifamily Forum.
Anderson has been honored by CoStar (Power Broker Award), ApartmentBuildings.com (Dealmakers of the Year) and the San Diego Business Journal (40 under 40). While with his previous employer, Northmarq, he was named to that company’s Producer Council.
These are just a few reasons we chose Erik Anderson as one of Connect CRE’s California Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
