Jennifer Sung

Jennifer Sung is a real estate partner in Allen Matkins’ Orange County office, where she represents institutional investors, public and private REITs, and investment funds, as well as owners, managers, and developers on the structuring, documenting and closing of complex commercial real estate transactions.

Notable transactions include representing a capital provider in a development joint venture transaction for two data centers in Virginia with an aggregate development budget of $1 billion. She represented an institutional investor selling a Tampa, FL trophy office building for $151 million. She represented Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield in a pre-development joint venture to develop a mixed-use apartment and retail project adjacent to a luxury mall in New Jersey.

A firm believer in mentoring, Sung is also active in the Asian American Pacific Islander Affinity Group and is helping restructure and lead Allen Matkins’ Real Estate Joint Ventures & Equity Investments Group.

Sung volunteers regularly at her children’s schools and coaches soccer through the American Youth Soccer Organization. She also serves on the board of the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate and has been on the planning committee for the USC Real Estate Law and Business Forum for several years.

Sung has been recognized by The Legal 500 U.S., included in The Best Lawyers of America and named the Best Lawyers’ Los Angeles—Real Estate Lawyer of the Year.
