Darian LeBlanc, Executive Vice Chair, leads Cushman & Wakefield’s six-person Government Services Group (GSG), which focuses on representing owners, investors and developers in real estate transactions involving federal, state and municipal government tenants.

In 2025, LeBlanc and his team closed 19 transactions totaling 2 million square feet in leases. The team also handled the sale of multiple properties housing government tenants while navigating the federal government’s administration change, DOGE’s effects, and multiple government shutdowns.

Notable transactions included a 575,000-square-foot lease for the Department of Justice at Two Constitution Square in Washington, DC; a 140,000-square-foot lease for the Federal Government of the District of Columbia (also in DC) and a 400,000-square-foot lease for the National Science Foundation in Alexandria, VA.

These are some of the reasons we selected Darian LeBlanc as one of Connect CRE’s Washington DC & Mid-Atlantic Top Broker Award winners for 2026. These awards recognize industry professionals who have demonstrated the highest standards and transaction volumes in investment sales and leasing.
