Newmark’s Texas Office Capital Markets team—led by Vice Chairmen Chris Murphy, Gary Carr and Robert Hill, alongside Director Austin Sheahan—has emerged as one of the most influential office investment sales teams in the region. Based in Dallas, the group advises institutional owners, REITs and private investors on complex, high-profile office dispositions and recapitalizations.
In 2025, the team oversaw 23 deals that totaled $1.1 billion.
Notable deals included oversight of the $218-million sale of The Link at Uptown to Cousins Properties on behalf of Kaizen Development Partners—establishing a new high-water mark for office sales pricing in Dallas-Fort Worth. The team also represented KBS in the sale of its Sterling Plaza in Preston Center (Dallas) and spearheaded the disposition of the 230,691-square-foot Offices at Park Lane (Dallas).
