Johnson with Clear Blue Builds Communities Through Strategic Development
Bradley Johnson is Development Manager at The Clear Blue Company, where he leads the firm’s expansion into North Carolina. He oversees the full lifecycle of multifamily development across affordable and mixed-income housing projects, including site sourcing, acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, design coordination, financing and construction oversight through lease-up. Beyond individual projects, Bradley plays a central role in establishing the firm’s regional presence, identifying new opportunities, and advancing developments that align with The Clear Blue Company’s mission to deliver high-quality, attainable housing in underserved communities.
In his career, Johnson has supported and advanced affordable and mixed-income housing developments across multiple markets as an investor and developer. He has underwritten acquisitions, navigated entitlement processes and coordinated financing and construction for projects.
Notable highlights include working with a 300-unit mixed-income multifamily development in partnership with a public facility corporation. Half the units were designated at 80% AMI, and the project required extensive coordination with rezoning and public engagement.
Johnson also contributed to a 257-unit mixed-income redevelopment project that incorporated multiple housing types and layered public funding sources, with units designated across a range of affordability levels from 50% to 80% AMI.
Johnson is a member of the University of Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association. He also maintains active connections within the real estate and development community while supporting industry engagement and collaboration.
These are just a few reasons we chose Bradley Johnson as one of Connect CRE’s Atlanta & Southeast Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
