Laura Hester is a commercial real estate and corporate partner at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP in Atlanta. She serves as chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, which includes 85+ attorneys from across the firm.

Her practice centers on complex commercial real estate and corporate transactions. She represents developers, owners, managers, lenders and equity investors in acquiring, leasing, financing, managing, and disposing of commercial real estate nationwide, primarily hotels, multifamily projects, and mixed-use retail and industrial developments.

Notable representations include assisting a developer in acquiring, developing and refinancing a multi-hotel, food and beverage and music entertainment district in Savannah, GA. Hester also represented a developer in negotiating and closing construction, mezzanine financing, and equity placement for a boutique hotel project in Greenville, SC.

Hester is the Atlanta office’s liaison for the Winn Initiative, a professional development program for women in the firm. She is also active with CREW Atlanta, NAIOP and Vistage International. With her two sons, Hester works with the Young Men’s Service League and with her husband, she supports Summit Counseling Center and Wiphan Care Ministries.

Hester has been recognized by the Best Lawyers in America (Real Estate Law) and Georgia Super Lawyers (Rising Star) and received the Distinguished Service Award from the City of Norcross Downtown Development Authority.
