Skye Stansbury is an associate director on Walker & Dunlop’s DC-based Debt and Structured Finance team. She finances income-producing multifamily, student housing and manufactured housing projects throughout the U.S.

Since joining the company in 2017, Stansbury has been directly involved with arranging $9.2 billion in financing for more than 400 properties. She was also a part of the team that structured Walker &  Dunlop’s largest transaction to date, a $2.4-billion Fannie Mae Credit Facility covering 22,439 units.

Stansbury serves on the leadership committee of Women of Walker & Dunlop (WoWD). In 2022, she launched and executed a company-wide networking event designed to facilitate and foster connections between W&D employees across offices and time zones. It is now an annual event attended by hundreds of employees. She also actively teams with others to provide volunteer support to various programs designed to mentor younger women. Stansbury also works with her team’s college interns.

Stansbury supports several local and regional nonprofit organizations, including THEARC (which serves underprivileged children and adults) and Meadowbrook Stables (a nonprofit providing equestrian opportunities). She is a member of several industry associations, including the ULI and MBA. Stansbury serves on the Fannie Mae DUS DEI marketing subcommittee.

These are just a few reasons we selected Skye Stansbury as one of Connect CRE’s Washington DC 2024 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will strongly influence the commercial real estate industry.
