As Jones Day Partner, Conrad Steele represents real estate investors, owners, and operators in complex commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States across various asset classes. Conrad’s practice focuses on joint ventures, construction and term loan financings, workouts, reorganizations, and the acquisition and disposition of real estate portfolios.

Notable activities include representing Mill Creek Residential Trust in purchasing and financing a 129-unit townhome community in Fort Lauderdale. Steele also worked with TriGate Capital to refinance a mortgage and mezzanine loan for a 1.5-million-square-foot, 60-story skyscraper in Dallas.

Steele earned his JD from Southern Methodist University and served as a law clerk with Chief Judge Carl E. Stewart of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit and Judge Harlin D. Hale of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Texas.
