As a real estate transaction attorney, Ashley Deweese works in related fields of law, such as corporate structuring and formation, mergers and acquisitions and pre-litigation disputes. Her commercial real estate practice includes handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing/subleasing, financing, HUD loans, development, property management, declarations of CCRs, due diligence review, easement preparation and platting/subdivision.

She has been involved in projects such as the acquisition of several multifamily housing projects with low-income housing tax credits/HUD loans, the acquisition, development, leasing and financing of medical office buildings, surgery and oncology centers and other medical industry-related projects, and the redevelopment and financing of a large-scale city convention center and hotel project outside of Texas.

Deweese has handled pro bono matters for non-profits in obtaining commercial leases for space to conduct their business and landlord/tenant disputes.

She received the inaugural 2020 Heart of CREW award from CREW Dallas.

This is why Ashley Deweese received Connect CRE’s 2024 Texas Lawyers in Real Estate Award. The award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community.
