After spending 16 years with The Townsend Group, Jennifer Stevens launched Alliance Global Advisors with her partner, Heather Border, in April 2020. Alliance is a women-owned consulting firm focused on empowering the institutional investment community to elevate best practices. Advising clients with over $520 billion in assets under management, Alliance provides an informed, independent perspective, continued education and an innovative approach to attracting capital in a competitive market environment.
Stevens’ experience includes institutional portfolio management and consulting, strategic and investment planning, real asset investment underwriting, and specializing in ESG and industry best practices. While with The Townsend Group, Stevens advised clients with cumulative total plan assets of over $300 billion and approximately $20 billion in real estate allocations. She was a voting member of Townsend’s Advisory Investment Committee.
Stevens is a representative member of the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment (UN PRI), Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), PREA Foundation Diversity Working Group, Institutional Real Estate, Inc. (IREI), Women in Institutional Investment Network (WIIN) and National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF). She was recently elected to the PREA Board of Directors and joined PREA’s Social Impact Committee. She actively participates in the PREA Foundation’s Diversity Working Group and Project Elevation.
