Tony Pepdjonovic and Evan Griffith (both Senior Vice Presidents) lead one of the top sales teams in Marcus & Millichap’s Boston office. The Griffith Pepdjonovic Group of Marcus & Millichap specializes in disposition and acquisition of multifamily, mixed-use investment properties and land development sites in the Greater Boston Area. The team also provides advisory services in 1031 exchange transactions.

During 2022, the team closed 41 transactions at a sales volume of $144.3 million. Notable transactions included the 92-unit Biotech Park Apartments in Worcester, MA for $17.2 million; the 40,000-square-foot Shops at Ocean’s Gate in Marshfield, MA for $9.9 million and 9 James Street, a 12-unit multifamily property in Boston for $5.3 million.

One of the team’s more challenging deals in 2022 involved executing a multi-pronged 1031 exchange tax deferral strategy. The duo exclusively marketed buildings in Salem MA and Lynn MA for one of their clients. The process involved securing different buyers while helping the seller purchase a new construction building in Beverly.  At the same time, Griffith Pepdjonovic lined up a net-leased property for the developer/seller of the Beverly asset to buy through his own 1031 exchange.
