Robert Richards is an Executive Vice Chair at Cushman & Wakefield, where he serves as a member of the firm’s Global Advisory Board. Locally, he leads the Cambridge/Urban team and heads the Life Science and Healthcare Practice Groups. In 2022, he spearheaded 41 leasing transactions that totaled more than four million square feet.
One notable past transaction involved representation of Bristol Myers Squibb in its 113,000-square-foot lease expansion at 250 Water Street at Cambridge Crossing in Somerville, MA. The deal brought the company’s total footprint to 473,000 square feet at the 43-acre project.
The Bristol Myers Squibb expansion put the building at full occupancy and reaffirmed the global pharmaceutical company’s commitment to Cambridge and Somerville’s dynamic life-science hub.
