Takes an active role in advising on transactional due diligence
Katie Yuen is a Partner with Seyfarth Shaw. In this role, she works with owners and tenants of commercial and industrial real estate, including various facilities involving e-commerce. Yuen advises them in a variety of transactions, including acquisitions, development and leasing. She works closely with clients to identify potential site challenges and develop strategies to deal with on-site logistics for properties across North America and Australia.
Her experience includes analyzing, drafting, and negotiating leases, purchase and sale agreements, declarations of covenants, conditions & restrictions (CC&Rs), and other real estate contracts. She also takes an active role advising on transactional due diligence, including environmental due diligence in connection with real estate development.
Yuen’s collaborative approach and knowledge of her clients’ businesses gives her a keen ability to maximize opportunities for physical space to complement their broader business strategies and goals.
