Frank Montalto

Frank Montalto recently joined the IPA Capital Markets team within Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation as Managing Director. He wanted to focus on structured transactions and fill what he saw as a gap in the market for high level advisory services in the middle market space.

Montalto has demonstrated a keen ability to look at a transaction from all angles and navigate complex situations to satisfy both his clients’ objectives, while meeting the needs of lenders in a challenging credit environment. Montalto’s demonstrated history of success, ethos of working hard but intelligently, with a focus on excellent client service distinguishes him from many others in the field.

While working full-time at MMCC, Montalto completed his MBA at Northwestern Kellogg School of Management, earning his degree in Finance and Real Estate. While at Northwestern, he was the Vice President of Finance for the Real Estate Club and an active Kellogg Ambassador assisting admissions with candidates interested in Commercial Real Estate.

In addition to academic and professional pursuits, Montalto is heavily involved in volunteer work. As a Kellogg Ambassador, Mentor at iMentor, active volunteer for the University of Iowa Real Estate committee and Project Destined participant, Montalto dedicates a considerable amount of his time to making a positive impact in his community. Even with his busy schedule, Montalto has earned the National Achievement Award for Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. every year since 2020. He has also been the recipient of the company’s Sales Achievement Award since 2019.
