Cushman & Wakefield’s National Industrial Advisory Group—West team, led by Jeff Chiate and members of the firm’s Orange County office, is a preeminent industrial capital markets group in the Western U.S. During 2021, the team brokered the sales of numerous high-quality industrial properties across Southern California and in key Western U.S. markets, closing 44 transactions totaling 20.5 million square feet, at a financial consideration of $4.3 billion. The team also closed on more than 600 acres of developable land. The team set pricing records throughout the Inland Empire, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and San Diego markets.
Notable transactions included a 1.4-million-square-foot industrial campus sale in Rialto, CA for more than $230 million, a 1.25-square-foot industrial campus sale in Phoenix for $186 million and 709,000 square feet in Riverside, CA, in a deal valued at $199 million. The team also brokered the sale of 11.1 acres in Colton, CA and a 187-acre site in Beaumont, CA.
