Hannah Hackathorn
Her work on DoubleVerify, one of the first full methodology projects (strategy, design, and construction) she led, is one of Hackathorn’s biggest accomplishments
Hackathorn has recently been featured in multiple media outlets including Medium, FacilitiesNet, Slate, Workflow and the Redesigning Normal Podcast
She will continue to challenge the industry with her human-centered design approach and her ability to bring out the best in her fellow designers
At Unispace, Hannah Hackathorn leads design operations for the Americas and lends 20 years of large-scale corporate workplace expertise to the design of Unispace’s biggest projects. She is an innovative leader, with one of her most influential leadership qualities being her empathetic nature.
Managing more than 40 people nationally and serving as a mentor and guide to employees at all levels, Hackathorn excels at identifying the unique strengths of each staff member and helping them apply their strengths to the right area of the business so they succeed. She has served as a mentor for the next generation of designers as well. Hackathorn’s past participation in the IIDA Speed Mentoring program helped students develop professional design skills and launch their careers.
She has further proven herself as a leader during uncertain times. By establishing a community of trust and managing effective communication among her team members, often without seeing them in person, Hackathorn built a reliable team focused on delivering design excellence no matter the circumstance.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Hackathorn as one of the Phoenix & Southwest 2021 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
