Sabrina Kortlandt
Relocated to New Orleans to open a new office for SRS in that market
Advises clients through ground-up development, asset repositioning, lease negotiation, and 1031 tax-deferred exchanges
Selected as the winner of the Rising Star award for the SRS National Net Lease Group
Sabrina Kortlandt joined SRS in 2019 as a senior associate in New York as part of the National Net Lease Group. In 2020 she moved to New Orleans because she recognized an opportunity to open a new office in that market for SRS and saw great potential in the region in terms of investment value. She was also ready for a new location outside New York, post-COVID.
Kortlandt believes a great deal of the commercial real estate in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast is undervalued. This focus represents how Kortlandt recognizes an opportunity that others have missed. With an office in New Orleans, she provides boots-on-the-ground insight to explain what is happening and the current economic drivers to out-of-state buyers who require more education.
In all she does, Kortlandt focuses on advising clients through ground-up development, asset repositioning, lease negotiation, and 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. Within the past year, she was responsible for more than $75 million worth of assets sold, placed under contract and exclusively listed.
Kortlandt believes that being a woman in real estate is a unique advantage and she is proud of a reputation with her clients that is known for being honest, working hard and making sure she maximizes the value of her clients’ assets.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Kortlandt as one of the Florida & Gulf Coast 2021 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect Media’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
