Andrea Kendrick is a senior director at Berkadia, based out of St. Louis. During her career, Kendrick has closed on more than 30,000 units and over $2.5 billion in sales volume. In 2018, she set a record for the largest multifamily transaction in the history of St. Louis; a $180-million 2,000-unit portfolio. Also in 2018, she set a record price per unit in St. Louis MSA with the sale of The Orion. Both records still stand. Kendrick also holds the record for highest price per unit for a two-story, garden-style multifamily with the sale of Turtle Creek in 2021.
Comparing Kendrick’s total 2019 production volume to year to date, she has increased her production by 736%. Already in 2021, Kendrick has been involved in two multifamily sales that were $100 million-plus in volume.
While it’s indisputable that Kendrick is a successful female in a historically male-dominated industry—multifamily commercial real estate—what really sets her apart are her ability to provide exceptional attention to detail, and her patience, honesty and confidence. As a broker, Kendrick is always looking for the next deal, but her goal is to exceed her client’s expectations on every single assignment she works on.
Kendrick has been instrumental in bringing more than 20 new, first-time investors (both private capital and institutional) to Berkadia St. Louis in the past five years from various areas of the U.S., Europe, Canada and Israel.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Kendrick as one of the Chicago 2021 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
