Jeanne Pinado
Entrepreneurial and well-connected leader within the Boston real estate community
Recently appointed to Boston’s Zoning Board of Appeals
Serves on Colliers' Executive Black Equality Task Force
Jeanne Pinado joined Colliers as EVP in January of 2021, becoming one of the only Black women in an executive role at a Boston brokerage firm. She serves as a strategic brokerage advisor within capital markets, focusing predominantly on investment sales and equity placement.
Pinado is an entrepreneurial and well-connected leader within the Boston real estate community, having spent the previous 20 years as CEO of Boston’s Madison Park Development Corporation, a community-based, mixed-use real estate developer. During her tenure at Madison Park, she grew the organization’s portfolio by more than 300% through new construction and acquisitions, resulting in assets of $200 million across 26 properties.
With deep, working knowledge of real estate development, asset management, public-private partnerships, and implementation of strategic business plans, Pinado’s positive impact on Boston is known citywide and was undoubtedly a large contributor to her recent appointment by then-Mayor Walsh to Boston’s Zoning Board of Appeals.
Pinado brought her broad range of real estate expertise to her role as a strategic capital markets advisor at Colliers, and both her expertise and leadership have been a game changer to the team since joining. Her unique skillset surrounding various product types, asset capitalization, development – specifically her intimate knowledge of zoning, permitting, entitlements and financing – has raised the bar for the team’s advisory potential.
Pinado’s diverse background has allowed her to see opportunities for clients that otherwise would have gone unnoticed, particularly through her network of nonprofits and state agencies throughout Greater Boston. Additionally, Jeanne serves a pivotal role in developing and nurturing Colliers’ global diversity and inclusion initiatives, as she is one of four serving on the Executive Black Equality Task Force reporting to Colliers CEO Gil Borok.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Pinado as one of the Boston & New England 2021 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
