Cappy Daume

Joined TDC in 2009
Winner of numerous awards and recognitions
Cappy Daume is a driving member of the senior leadership team and was instrumental in helping The Davis Companies (TDC) emerge into the fund manager with $2 billion-plus in assets under management that it now has become. Daume, who began her career in commercial real estate during one downturn in the early 1990s, joined TDC in 2009 as it was launching its first fund amid another recession.
Daume oversees strategy, implementation, leasing and dispositions for all of TDC’s assets. She and her team are a critical part of the company’s value added/opportunistic strategy. Colleagues say she has a keen eye toward value.
A member of the GBREB, PREA, NAIOP, NEWIRE and ULI, Daume has won numerous awards including Boston’s “Top 10” Real Estate Professionals by Women’s Business Boston in 2009; CoStar’s Power Broker Award in 2007; Boston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Award in 2003; and Boston Magazine’s list of Greater Boston’s “100 Most Influential Women” in 2003.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Daume as one of the Boston & New England 2021 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
