Specializes in environmental and physical due diligence of commercial, industrial, retail, and multifamily real estate
Leads the historical research focus group within the ASTM E1527 Task Group
Go-to for many REITs and investors worldwide
Elizabeth Krol joined EBI Consulting in 2020 as national client director. With more than 25 years’ experience as a professional geologist and environmental professional, she specializes in providing environmental and physical due diligence of commercial, industrial, retail, and multifamily real estate properties, which includes: ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Property Condition Assessments, construction risk management, energy audits, facility management plans, seismic evaluations, regulatory agency file reviews, compliance audits, hazardous material assessments, wetland assessments and Phase II Subsurface Investigations, including vapor intrusion and PFAS impacts.
Krol is widely recognized as a thought leader and leading provider of due diligence services to the commercial real estate and financial services sectors. She leads the historical research focus group within the ASTM E1527 Task Group, was selected as a founding member and national advisory panelist of commonground, and served as co-editor of the EBA Journal for the Environmental Bankers Association.
In nominating Krol, an industry colleague notes that over a two-decade period, “she has consistently demonstrated uncommon leadership, savvy insight, business acumen, the ability to build lasting client relationships, and on a broader level, establish a strong reputation as an industry influencer.” Further, Krol has “consistently beaten the drum for quality in property due diligence, which is counter to the perspective of many, who see this work as ‘third party products’ rather than a valued service. Throughout her career, she has selectively identified the highest caliber commercial real estate investors as her clients, and in turn, they have referred her to within their network. She is the ‘first call’ of many of the top tier REITs and CRE investors nationwide.”
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Krol as one of the Boston & New England 2021 Women in Real Estate Award winners. Connect CRE’s Women in Real Estate Awards honor the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others.
