Mike Bryant and Jay Wagley co-lead CBRE capital markets debt and structured finance group in Dallas. As vice chairmen and managing directors, they lead a team of 15 comprised of six production professionals, five production analysts and four closing specialists. The team executes a full range of debt and equity transactions for multifamily, office, retail, hotel and industrial properties. Over the past 10 years, the team has closed more than 800 debt and equity transactions on behalf of 80 different lenders for a total of $16.4 billion in loan originations.
When the pandemic hit, there was a slowdown in business with many clients hitting pause in March and April. Because of the strong relationships and the trust Bryant and Wagley have fostered among their clients, they were able to seamlessly shift into advisor role for their clients. They used their extensive financing knowledge to help their clients interpret the governmental stimulus bills and adapt to changing restrictions.
Under their leadership, the team closed $2.2 billion in total transactions with 61 assignments completed. Bryant was recognized in the top 1 percent of all CBRE producers nationally, and Wagley was included in CBRE’s Colbert Coldwell Circle, recognizing the top 3 percent of CBRE producers.
These are some of the reasons we selected Bryant and Wagley for inclusion in our first-ever Top Mortgage Brokers and Lenders Awards. These awards recognize industry professionals who have demonstrated the highest standards in commercial real estate finance.
