Cushman & Wakefield’s senior director Phil Haenel is literally and figuratively the definition of commercial real estate’s Next Generation. Haenel’s father is one of Phoenix’s most successful industrial brokers, so he had a front-row seat to the industry growing up. He credits his success to what he learned from his family and watching his dad navigate the brokerage profession, along with great mentors that he has worked with over the past eight years. Haenel’s dedication and work ethic are unmatched. He is always first in and last to leave the office, even when that office was in his home. When others slowed down or viewed the WFH order as an opportunity to take a break, Haenel ramped up his efforts and worked even harder, hitting the phones, making cold calls and prospecting for new clients. Those efforts and dedication resulted in several of our largest industrial deals last year and propelled him to spot in the Top 10 broker list for overall production in 2020. Haenel’s approach to brokerage from day one was to work with and learn from the best brokers in all areas of industrial brokerage- tenant representation, agency leasing, land sales and private capital building sales. By building a resume of skills and knowledge in multiple areas Haenel has become a valuable member of his team, a trusted resource for his clients and a respected and often requested broker by the national C&W industrial group for inbound referrals.
Lisa Brown has decades of experience in corporate communications and marketing management with organizations including Coldwell Banker Residential, Grubb & Ellis, Marcus & Millichap, NAIOP, SIOR and ALM.
In those positions, she worked in conjunction with chief executive officers and chief marketing officers to create corporate messaging, cohesive branding standards, strategic marketing plans and thought pieces. Brown is a frequent speaker at industry events and an editing adjunct professor for an online course. She has a master’s degree in mass communications from San Jose State University.
