Courtney Trunnell has nearly 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, a career she started from scratch but after many years of hard work, contribution, and growth and experience, she has elevated from an entry level marketing administrator to now serving as a director with Cushman & Wakefield’s highly successful and acclaimed Northern California Capital Markets team, working with four senior partners and managing a support team of four analysts and a graphic designer. Trunnell specializes in the production of marketing proposals, offering memorandums, and marketing campaigns for the sale of office and industrial product in Northern California. She has been involved in the marketing and sale of more than $4 billion in office and industrial sales in the past five years. Beyond her primary role as a director, Trunnell is also an extremely active leader and member within her industry, community and as a driven woman in commercial real estate, a role model. As one who has always sought out mentorship and sponsorship from women and men within her company and industry to assist her path, in turn, Trunnell readily makes herself available as a mentor, role model and player-coach to strive to help other’s career achievements. She is consistently sought out and recognized by her peers as a go-to resource for sharing best practices for proposals, marketing and transaction coordination. She has also been hand-selected by Cushman & Wakefield leadership to participate in Q&As about Women in Real Estate as well as for related awards, which she has either won or been recognized as a finalist. Most recently, she was a 2020 NAIOP award nominee/finalists (one of only three) as a Developing Leader. Trunnell has always wanted to see more women in the industry, particularly in leadership positions as role models but that one day she might be someone others look up to as well, which they do. She does her very best to support fellow women in the industry, especially by working with groups such as CREW, ULI’s Women’s Leadership Initiative and Cushman & Wakefield’s Women’s Integrated Network. For encouraging more women to join the industry, she has also been a part of recruiting initiatives at Cushman & Wakefield and with ULI. Born and raised in California, Trunnell holds a bachelor of arts degree in geography and environmental studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Lisa Brown has decades of experience in corporate communications and marketing management with organizations including Coldwell Banker Residential, Grubb & Ellis, Marcus & Millichap, NAIOP, SIOR and ALM.
In those positions, she worked in conjunction with chief executive officers and chief marketing officers to create corporate messaging, cohesive branding standards, strategic marketing plans and thought pieces. Brown is a frequent speaker at industry events and an editing adjunct professor for an online course. She has a master’s degree in mass communications from San Jose State University.
