Dean Zang and David Crotts of Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap, specialize in retail and net-leased investment sales across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, advising institutional and private investors on stabilized, multi-tenant retail assets.
In 2025, the team closed 53 transactions totaling $288 million in sales volume. Notable deals include the disposition of the Shoppes at James Run in Bel Air, MD. The newly constructed pad sites leased to Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse, along with the adjacent multi-tenant retail buildings, were sold through two separate transactions.
These are some of the reasons we selected Dean Zang and David Crotts as Connect CRE’s Washington, DC & Mid-Atlantic Top Broker Award winners for 2026. These awards recognize industry professionals who have demonstrated the highest standards and transaction volumes in investment sales and leasing.
