As a Cushman & Wakefield senior associate, Sophie Van Pelt specializes in retail brokerage and is the firm’s dedicated retail leasing specialist for the DC region. She was one of two Cushman & Wakefield brokers representing Pakistan-based apparel retailer Khaadi in opening its first U.S. store, 5,491 square feet, at Tysons Corner Center in Tysons, VA. The company plans to open 20 or more stores in the U.S. and Canada. She was also part of the team that helped health and wellness brand SweatHouz expand nationally in 20 markets.
