As Matthews’ vice president and director, Clark Finney provides comprehensive debt and equity solutions and assists principals in underwriting and analyzing acquisition opportunities. He models on/off-market deals to place in front of curated borrower profiles, manages a robust quoting pipeline via a national network of underwriters and associates, navigates market volatility and stays current with active capital. Since joining Matthews, Finney has secured over $50 million in financing for various product types.

He provides insights into capital markets to national publications through thought leadership articles, market reports, and interviews. Finney also mentors over a dozen capital markets associates, acting as a resource and providing guidance for young professionals entering the industry.

Finney and his wife are supporting members of Save Giraffes Now. They also enjoy participating as service volunteers for the Dallas SPCA, Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, Boys & Girls Club and Make a Wish North Texas.          

He has received Matthews’ Sales Achievement Award.
