Closed more than $800 million in capital across 60 transactions in his career

Dedicated to becoming an expert in financial modeling

Travis Headapohl is an associate director at IPA Capital Markets. In this role, he sources and closes commercial debt and equity nationwide across various properties, including multifamily, retail, hotel, office, build-for-rent, industrial and self-storage. He has closed over $800 million in capital across 60 transactions throughout his financing career.

Highlights include $42 million in acquisition financing on a national, 10-property GSA portfolio, $54 million in construction finance for the mixed-use Convergence, which includes a 228,000-square-foot office and arranging for a $32.4-million CMBS loan for a nine-property self-storage portfolio in Arizona.

Headapohl has made it his mission to be an expert in financial modeling. He has taken many external training courses, such as A.CRE and REFM, which have helped him advance quickly and early in his career to work on development deals and equity requests.

He volunteers at the career center of his alma mater, Southern Methodist University. He mentors in resume reviewing and mock interviews and prepares students to handle themselves correctly during the job search process. Headapohl is also an active member of the ULI.

These are just a few reasons we selected Travis Headapohl as one of Connect CRE’s Texas 2024 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will strongly influence the commercial real estate industry.
