Newmark Managing Director Mike Wafer, Jr. specializes in providing landlord, tenant and investment representation services focusing on the industrial/flex market throughout the Denver metropolitan area. In 2023, Wafer handled 31 leases and seven sales, totaling more than 1 million square feet at a total sales volume of $62.3 million.
During 2023, he represented landlord Brookfield Properties in several transactions at its new Central Park Logistics Center, totaling 695,000 square feet. Tenant Consolidated Electrical Distributors leased 58,565 square feet, while Discount Tire and Marcone Supply leased 339,000 square feet and 156,000 square feet, respectively.
The Discount Tire deal was the largest lease of spec development space in the Denver metro within the last two years.
