Newmark’s Carolinas Multifamily team has over 50% market share across all transactions in the Carolinas primary markets and 65% market share on institutional transactions over $75 million. This gives the team a unique lens into the capital markets universe as the first stop for new capital interested in regional investments.
The team includes John Heimburger, Sean Wood and Dean Smith (Vice Chairs); Alex Okulski (Executive Managing Director), John Munroe and Jason Kon (Senior Managing Directors) and Brenna Campbell (Director).
In 2023, the team handled four of the Carolinas’ multifamily sales exceeding $100 million while representing several of the largest real estate owners. These include Blackstone, Carlyle Group, Greystar and PGIM.
